Let’s Prepare for CUFFING SZN!

Pumpkin spiced lattes. Feather-filled coats. Cooler temperatures & golden leaves. Autumn is here! The weather may be chilly, but that doesnt mean dating needs to be. Cuffing season generally starts in October and ends close to February. With the days becoming shorter and the holidays peeking from around the corner, singles are more likely to settle down. Cuffing season is a time to connect, share blankets, and sip a warm beverage with a loved one.

Perhaps its time to find a cutie to cuddle by the fireplace?

If youre looking to get back in the dating scene, have no worry. In my opinion, cuffing season is the best time to get back to chatting with sizzling singles. The busyness of summer has dissipated, and the upcoming holidays make everyone well, a little misty eyed. The end of the year also sparks some hope for all of us to focus on goals, and some of them may include finding a special someone.

If youre looking for some advice for the season, Ive got you. Here are some tips on how to kill it for this cuffing season:

Plan an autumn photoshoot.

There is never a more gorgeous time than Autumn. The leaves are crisp and colorful, its not too frigid and cold, and lets be honest: fall is the best season for fashion.

We recommend catching the best light: early morning or just before sunset. Try to find a local park, a view by the water, or anywhere in nature. If youre in a metropolis city, a textured background or a funky cafe will serve as a great backdrop.

Show off your autumn style.

Boots, scarves, cozy sweaters and fur-lined gloves. What could be better than that? Autumn is hands down, my favourite season to dress in. The richness of the colors – hues of red and golden – make an excellent color palette for clothing.

If youre feeling overwhelmed, dont be! You can still look like a fashionista on a budget. Second hand stores are a great option to buy a funky scarf, or you can spice up an outfit with a simple pair of earrings.

Although its tempting to slide into your coziest sweats (I know I have my favourite pair) consider investing into yourself for the season. Whats better than feeling dressed up and bundled down?

(But its totally okay if youre rocking sweatpants. You do you, boo.)

Plan some cold-weather activities.

I love cold-weather activities. When October comes around, who can say no to a good pumpkin patch with a mulled cider at the end? Dont forget all the spooky Halloween activities as well.

If youre the more adventurous type, dont forget to hit your local ski slope or plan some snowshoeing activities. (Besides, who knows who you may meet en-route?)

Spice up your profile.

Seasonal profile updates are so in right now. If youve had an autumn photoshoot, what a perfect opportunity to upload those updated snaps. Recent photos are quite haute in the dating world, and what look could be better than your snaps from a pumpkin patch?

Also consider revamping your written portion to reflect the change in the seasons. Have you picked up a new hobby? Are you looking for a partner to ice-skate with?  Dont be afraid to update with little changes that are happening in your life!

Whether your preferred drink is a pumpkin spiced latte, a shot of whisky, or a mug of tea – we hope this article has helped you for the upcoming cold season.

Happy cuffing season!
